AI Agents Are Reading Your Docs. Are You Ready?

Last month, 48% of visitors to documentation sites across Mintlify were AI agents, not humans.

Claude Code, Cursor, and other coding agents are becoming the actual customers reading your docs. And they read everything.

This changes what good documentation means. Humans skim and forgive gaps. Agents methodically check every endpoint, read every guide, and compare you against alternatives with zero fatigue.

Your docs aren't just helping users anymore. They're your product's first interview with the machines deciding whether to recommend you.

That means: clear schema markup so agents can parse your content, real benchmarks instead of marketing fluff, open endpoints agents can actually test, and honest comparisons that emphasize strengths without hype.

Mintlify powers documentation for over 20,000 companies, reaching 100M+ people every year. We just raised a $45M Series B led by @a16z and @SalesforceVC to build the knowledge layer for the agent era.

Downtown Tampa ‘Teen Takeover’ Ends With 22 Arrests and Business Damage

Tampa police arrested 22 individuals ranging from ages 12 to 21 following a chaotic “teen takeover” gathering Friday night at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa. Authorities said the event, organized and promoted through social media, led to multiple disturbances, property damage, and safety concerns for residents, visitors, and officers.

According to Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw, arrests included charges such as fighting, resisting arrest, gun possession, and drug possession. Officers also seized two firearms and a vehicle during the operation.

Nearby business Tampa Burgers & Pirates reported significant damage after crowds allegedly flipped tables and destroyed furniture outside the sports bar. Owner Tony Khouri said similar incidents in the past have included rocks thrown through windows and disruptions affecting customers and business operations.

Police warned that detectives actively monitor social media for future “teen takeover” events planned across the Tampa Bay area.

Journey Resumes Farewell Tour May 15 in Tampa Before Adding 40 New Dates

Legendary rock band Journey has announced 40 additional dates for its ongoing “Final Frontier” farewell tour, extending the arena run through late 2026.

The tour, which has been on a short break since late April, officially resumes May 15 in Tampa at Benchmark International Arena before continuing across the country.

The newly added concerts begin Sept. 12 in Los Angeles and are currently scheduled to wrap up Nov. 28 in the band’s hometown of San Francisco. Tickets for the new shows go on sale May 15.

Guitarist Neal Schon said the energy from fans has been “incredible,” while keyboardist Jonathan Cain described the farewell run as a celebration of the music and connection shared with audiences over the years.

The current lineup continues to feature vocalist Arnel Pineda, while former frontman Steve Perry confirmed he will not be rejoining the band for the farewell tour.

Airport K-9 Helps CBP Seize $44K in Unreported Cash Bound for Mexico

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized more than $44,000 in undeclared cash from a passenger traveling through Philadelphia International Airport after a trained K-9 detected the money during a routine inspection.

According to CBP, the incident occurred on April 30 when Nitro, a chocolate Labrador trained to detect bulk currency, alerted officers to a 54-year-old man preparing to board a flight to Mexico. Federal law requires travelers carrying more than $10,000 in currency to report it to the U.S. Treasury using a FinCEN 105 form.

Officials said the traveler initially declared he was carrying $10,000, both verbally and in writing. However, officers later discovered $44,690 hidden in his pockets, envelopes, and carry-on luggage.

CBP said officers returned $240 for humanitarian purposes before releasing the traveler, who was identified as a naturalized U.S. citizen originally from Peru.

Zac Robinson Sees Extra Fire in Focused Bucs Offense

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are embracing a renewed sense of urgency heading into the 2026 season, according to new offensive coordinator Zac Robinson. Speaking Tuesday at One Buc Place, Robinson said the word “hunger” perfectly describes both the offense and quarterback Baker Mayfield after last season’s disappointing finish.

Robinson noted the team has developed an edge following the struggles of November and December, when Tampa’s offense failed to meet expectations. He suggested the organization’s offseason coaching overhaul reflects a clear understanding that changes were needed.

Mayfield, already known for his competitive intensity, appears even more focused this offseason. Robinson praised the veteran quarterback for being highly intentional with his footwork, fundamentals, and attention to detail during workouts alongside quarterbacks coach Chandler Whitmer.

With pride, expectations, and potentially significant future earnings on the line, the Buccaneers believe Mayfield is entering 2026 with a sharpened mindset and something to prove.
