Solana Crashed 80%—Here’s Why We’re Buying Now

Ten consecutive red monthly candles and the most oversold RSI in Solana history have created massive panic. But while the price collapsed, the underlying network didn’t.
Dormant wallets are waking up, application revenue is surging, stablecoin supply has climbed to fifteen billion dollars, and institutional ETF inflows remain strong. With new tokenomics reducing inflation and major infrastructure upgrades like Firedancer rolling out, the current range is a prime accumulation zone.
Stop guessing where the market bottom is and get our complete breakdown of the thesis, metrics, and risks. Download our free guide today to see why we are accumulating SOL right now.

Gulf Disturbance Jumps to 80% Development Chance as Florida Watches Heavy Rain Threat

A disturbance in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico is drawing increased attention after the National Hurricane Center raised its development chances to 80% over the next seven days and 60% within 48 hours. A well-defined low-pressure system has not yet formed, and there is no immediate tropical cyclone threat to Tampa Bay.
Conditions over the southern Gulf could briefly become more favorable for organization later this week before stronger wind shear farther north potentially disrupts the system.
Regardless of development, heavy rainfall could become Florida’s bigger concern. A stalled front is expected to pull tropical moisture across the state, with 1 to 3 inches of rain possible and locally higher totals, particularly around the Nature Coast.
Forecast uncertainty remains significant, but additional heavy rain late this week into next weekend could increase the risk of localized flooding across portions of Florida and the Gulf Coast.
Wesley Chapel Home Prices Drop as Tampa Bay Posts One of Nation’s Steepest Declines

Wesley Chapel’s housing market continues to cool, with the median listing price falling 5.39% from a year ago to $435,000 in September. The median sold price dropped even further, down 6.15% to $427,495, while homes spent a median 71 days on the market.
The slowdown mirrors a broader Tampa Bay trend. Across the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater metro, median listing prices fell 6.6% year over year to $385,398. The region’s 6% decline in price per square foot ranked second-steepest among the nation’s 50 largest metros, behind only Austin.
Buyers are also confronting higher borrowing costs, with 30-year mortgage rates recently reaching 6.95%. Despite softer prices, Wesley Chapel homes that sell are still receiving about 99% of their final asking price, suggesting many sellers are lowering expectations before offers arrive rather than making large concessions during negotiations.

$20 Scratch-Off Turns Tampa Woman Into a Multimillion-Dollar Winner

A Tampa woman has turned a $20 scratch-off ticket into a multimillion-dollar payday after winning a $5 million top prize in the Florida Lottery’s 200X THE CASH game.
Mercedes Nunez, 34, of Tampa, claimed the prize June 29 at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. Rather than receiving the full prize through an annuity, Nunez chose the one-time lump-sum payment of $2,779,400.
The winning ticket wasn’t purchased in Tampa. Nunez bought it at Murphy USA at 1405 West 15th Street in Panama City, roughly 375 miles northwest of Tampa.
The 200X THE CASH Scratch-Off costs $20 per ticket and offers overall odds of winning any prize of 1 in 2.96. Nunez beat considerably longer odds to capture one of the game’s coveted $5 million top prizes.

Junior Caminero and Yandy Díaz Among Baseball’s Top Offensive Award Finalists

Two Tampa Bay Rays stand among the American League’s elite hitters, with Junior Caminero and Yandy Díaz named finalists for the 2026 Hank Aaron Award, recognizing each league’s outstanding regular-season offensive performer.
The Rays teammates are among 10 American League finalists, joining stars including Bobby Witt Jr., Yordan Alvarez and Randy Arozarena. Ten National League players are also finalists, including three-time defending winner Shohei Ohtani.
A committee of MLB.com journalists selected the finalists based on regular-season offensive statistics, accomplishments and performances. Winners will be determined with input from a panel of baseball legends and past recipients, while fans can also vote through Oct. 12 at 11:59 a.m. ET.
The winners will be announced Nov. 11 during the MLB Awards in Las Vegas. Established in 1999, the award honors Hank Aaron and his historic breaking of Babe Ruth’s career home-run record.
