Silver Miners Have Outrun Silver Since 2020
Since March 2020, silver has returned about 402%. The silver miners returned 445%.
That gap is the leverage our research team focuses on. When silver rises, a producer's net asset value can rise much faster, and share prices tend to follow. It works in both directions, and a mine is only as good as the company running it.
The Ultimate Silver Playbook shows how the team separates the miners worth owning from the rest, and which silver stocks are on its watchlist now. It's free.

Contractor Problems Push Art Fair Tampa’s Grand Opening to Friday

Art Fair Tampa has postponed its opening until Friday, October 16, after contractor problems delayed preparations at the Tampa Convention Center.
Organizer Tyler Sirota said a miscalculation by a replacement contractor responsible for constructing exhibition booths forced the last-minute change. The event, billed as the region's first major indoor fine art fair, will feature approximately 100 artists displaying their work.
VIP collectors night moves to Friday, October 16, from 5–10 p.m., with Tampa Mayor Jane Castor still expected to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony. VIP tickets cost $50.
The fair remains free and open to the public Saturday and Sunday, October 17–18, beginning at 10 a.m. each day.
Despite two artists withdrawing, organizers expect to fill their spaces from a waiting list.
The exhibition will occupy 75,000 square feet of the convention center's West Hall, offering an alternative to traditional art festivals.
New Poll Shows Amendment 3 in Trouble Despite Strong Tampa Bay Support

A new statewide poll suggests Florida's Amendment 3 may struggle to win approval in November, with just 53% of likely voters supporting the measure, below the 60% required for constitutional amendments.
The proposal would increase homestead exemptions for non-school property taxes and reduce the cap on annual assessment increases for non-homestead properties.
Tampa Bay and Miami showed the strongest regional support at 56%, while Orlando registered just 48%. Statewide, 28% oppose the amendment, and 19% remain undecided.
Support varies significantly by political affiliation, with 68% of Republicans, 50% of independents, and 32% of Democrats favoring the proposal.
The survey of 800 likely Florida voters, conducted September 28–October 1, carries a 3.5-percentage-point margin of error.
The findings follow an August court ruling requiring clearer ballot language. Although the amendment itself remained unchanged, voters will see revised wording when deciding its fate in November.

Hillsborough Leads Florida Dengue Surge With 310 of State’s 368 Cases

Hillsborough and Pinellas counties have extended their dengue fever states of emergency through October 22 as mosquito-borne infections continue rising across Tampa Bay.
Hillsborough remains Florida's outbreak epicenter, reporting 310 of the state's 368 confirmed cases. Pinellas has recorded 37 cases, while neighboring Pasco County reports four and Polk County one.
The emergency declarations, initially issued in late September, allow local officials to intensify efforts to control mosquitoes. Hillsborough County Mosquito Control has increased aerial spraying to help reduce transmission.
Dengue spreads primarily through infected Aedes mosquitoes. Symptoms include fever, body aches, nausea, vomiting, and rash, typically appearing within two weeks of infection. Although most patients recover within a week, severe complications can occur.
Health officials urge residents to eliminate standing water, apply mosquito repellent, and wear protective clothing. Anyone experiencing worsening symptoms should contact a healthcare provider promptly for medical guidance.

Rookie’s Two-Run Homer Sinks Rays in Pivotal
ALCS Game 3

The Tampa Bay Rays fell 3-2 to the Cleveland Guardians Thursday, slipping behind 2-1 in the American League Championship Series after another frustrating offensive performance.
Cleveland rookie Petey Halpin delivered the decisive blow, launching a two-run homer off Griffin Jax in the fifth inning to erase Tampa Bay's 2-1 lead. The 385-foot blast was Halpin's first postseason home run.
Chandler Simpson provided Tampa Bay's biggest highlight, ripping a two-run triple in the fourth inning after Yandy Díaz doubled and Victor Mesa Jr. walked.
However, the Rays managed just three hits against Cleveland pitching. Guardians starter Gavin Williams struck out nine over five innings, while Tampa Bay hitters struck out 13 times overall. Junior Caminero accounted for four strikeouts.
The Guardians have now won five of their last six playoff games.
Game 4 is scheduled for Friday in Cleveland, although rain could affect the matchup.
