Property Fraud Case Expands from Tampa to Miami with New Victims

A property fraud investigation involving Victor Rodriguez, 50, and his wife Michelle Cherry, 33, arrested in Tampa, has expanded to Miami-Dade County.
The couple allegedly filed a fraudulent quitclaim deed on Larry and Dreama Bilby’s property without consent. The Bilbys were outraged upon discovering their names had been forged. Rodriguez’s ex-wife, Carolina Sauer, uncovered similar forgeries on her late father's properties, leading to a costly legal battle. Miami-Dade court documents detail multiple fraudulent deeds between Rodriguez and Sauer’s father.
Hillsborough County Clerk Cindy Stuart highlighted the ease of forging quitclaim deeds and is advocating for stricter legislation to prevent such fraud. Sauer’s family continues to fight to protect her father's legacy, having hired a handwriting expert to strengthen their case. Efforts to contact Cherry, Rodriguez, and their legal representatives have been unsuccessful.
**Homeowners can register for the county’s free property fraud alert system, which notifies them when a document is filed against their property. Go to the bottom of the article on website below for this link:
How the PulsePoint App is Revolutionizing Emergency Response in the Bay Area

This is a really good idea!
The PulsePoint app is making a significant impact in the Bay Area by connecting first responders and community members to emergency alerts. This app mobilizes anyone nearby during crises, bridging the gap when professional help is minutes away.
Sarasota County Lifeguard Division Chief Rick Hinkson highlights the app’s real-time notifications, allowing users to see emergencies unfold. Both Sarasota and Manatee counties actively use PulsePoint, recognizing its potential to save lives. Manatee County Deputy Director of Public Safety, James Crutchfield, notes that it typically takes nine minutes for an ambulance to arrive, making the app crucial for immediate assistance.
An off-duty lifeguard in Sarasota recently received a PulsePoint alert for a water rescue and saved nine people from a rip current. (Yesterday’s article). PulsePoint sends alerts for various emergencies, including cardiac arrests and hazardous materials incidents. The app is currently used in 5,100 communities across North America, with 170,830 AEDs registered. Free and accessible, PulsePoint doesn't require users to submit training certification to sign up.

One unexpected and striking fact about the timing of medical emergency care is that survival rates for heart attacks and strokes significantly depend on the time of day the patient receives treatment.
Studies have shown that patients who experience these emergencies during off-hours (nights, weekends, and holidays) tend to have worse outcomes compared to those treated during regular business hours. This disparity is often attributed to variations in staffing levels, availability of specialized care, and response times during off-hours, highlighting the importance of round-the-clock readiness and resource availability in emergency medical services.

Aaron Judge and Bryce Harper Lead All-Star Ballot as Phase 1 Ends

Phase 1 of the 2024 MLB All-Star Ballot, presented by BuildSubmarines.com, concluded at noon ET. Results will be announced at 6:30 p.m. ET on MLB Network. The top two finishers at each position, plus the top six outfielders, advance to Phase 2. Valspar Championship Donates $10,000 to Enhance USF Golf Facilities
