Port St. Lucie Man Arrested Following 110 mph Chase and Drug Bust

Early Sunday morning, a 41-year-old man from Port St. Lucie was apprehended following a high-speed chase in Polk County. Florida Highway Patrol identified the suspect as Kenneth Albert Fike. The pursuit began around 2:13 a.m. when troopers spotted Fike speeding on US-92 near Berkley Road.
Fike, riding a 2005 Ducati 800 Super Sport, accelerated to over 110 mph on various local roads, attempting to evade the authorities. The chase continued until Fike reached Winter Lake Road, where he briefly slowed down and discarded a backpack before continuing to flee.
The pursuit concluded when Fike surrendered in a gas station parking lot. Upon inspecting the discarded backpack, troopers discovered Fike's wallet, a 9mm handgun, cannabis, needles, a scale, a bong, and methamphetamine. Fike was subsequently arrested and taken to the Polk County Jail.
He faces multiple charges, including fleeing and eluding law enforcement, driving with a suspended license, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon, and possession of methamphetamine, cannabis, and drug paraphernalia.

FBI Offers $250K for Capture of Most Wanted Fugitive in Tampa

The FBI is searching for Donald Eugene Fields II, a fugitive on its Top 10 Most Wanted list, who may be hiding in Tampa. Indicted in December 2022 for child sex trafficking, Fields has been evading authorities since missing a court hearing in March 2022. Fields and co-defendant Theodore Sartori Sr. are accused of exploiting a minor from 2013 to 2017. Fields also faces charges of statutory rape, child molestation, and witness tampering in Missouri.
Fields is described as having multiple scars and a tribal tattoo on his right shoulder. Rachel Foster of World Without Exploitation warns that Fields is dangerous and urges the Tampa community to stay vigilant. The FBI believes Fields may be working cash jobs and frequenting casinos. A reward of up to $250,000 is offered for information leading to his capture. Tips can be submitted at tips.fbi.gov or by calling 1-800-225-5325.
