Cee-Lo Green Headlines Free Tampa Music Fest, Aids Hurricane Relief

This weekend, Cee-Lo Green will take the stage for a free performance at the Tampa Urban Music Festival along the Riverwalk. The renowned artist, scheduled to return to Tampa in December for a show at the Straz Center, will headline the festival following performances by local talents like Jalea Lynee’, J’Nelle, and April Showers.
The event, organized by Xcite Entertainment, offers music fans a chance to enjoy live performances while supporting a good cause, as attendees are encouraged to donate for hurricane relief efforts.

Tampa Oratorio Singers Offer Free Mozart’s Mass in C Minor as Benefit for Hurricane Relief

The Tampa Oratorio Singers will perform Mozart’s Great Mass in C Minor for free on Sunday, Nov. 10, at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church, 3501 W. San Jose St., Tampa, as a benefit for hurricane relief. Originally priced at $20, this special concert allows the community to enjoy the music while supporting storm recovery efforts.
Chorus member Sally Olsson explained that the decision was a heartfelt gesture to bring comfort following recent devastating storms. Donations are welcome for Feeding Tampa Bay but are not required.
Written by Mozart for his wife, Constanze, the Great Mass debuted in 1783 at Salzburg’s Church of St. Peter’s Abbey. Soprano soloist Susan Hellman Spatafora, known for her work with regional opera companies, will perform in the piece, which she describes as both “gorgeous” and “musically challenging.”

Chiefs Eyeing Undefeated Season with Monday Night Win Over Bucs

The Kansas City Chiefs (7-0) take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-4) in a highly anticipated Monday night game at Arrowhead Stadium.
Kansas City is favored by 9.5 points. The Chiefs boast strong defense and offensive versatility, making it challenging for Tampa Bay, who may be without key receivers Chris Godwin and Mike Evans.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been reliable, especially on Monday nights, and the Chiefs’ defense has allowed only 17.6 points per game. Meanwhile, the Bucs have struggled defensively, allowing 26.6 points per game.
Kansas City is positioned for a commanding win to maintain their undefeated season.
Jacksonville's Iconic Game Heads to Atlanta, Tampa for Stadium Upgrade

Due to upcoming renovations at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, the annual Georgia-Florida football game will relocate to Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium in 2026 and Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium in 2027.
Renovation plans, which have now received unanimous approval from NFL owners, involve a $1.4 billion overhaul dubbed the "Stadium of the Future" for the Jacksonville Jaguars. This development will result in reduced capacity at EverBank Stadium in 2026, with the Jaguars playing the 2027 season elsewhere.
Mayor Donna Deegan hopes to secure a long-term deal to keep the Georgia-Florida game in Jacksonville.
