Tampa Native Redefines Coastal Luxury with
Boutique Empire

Tampa native Sunni Spencer, owner of Hyde Park Village’s boutique Sunni Spencer and creator of the Après Sea brand, is redefining coastal luxury. From her start as a buyer at Bergdorf Goodman in New York to opening her first boutique in 2015, Sunni’s journey reflects a passion for blending high-end fashion with coastal flair.
In 2019, Sunni returned to Tampa to launch her flagship boutique, offering over 60 curated brands, many of them female-founded.
Since then, she’s expanded with a second location at the Vinoy Resort in St. Petersburg. Her private label collections include chic towel dresses debuting in April 2024 and a loungewear line in November.
More than a store, Sunni’s boutique celebrates purpose-driven creators and community impact, solidifying her as a leading name in luxury fashion.

OddFellows Ice Cream Brings Unique Flavors
to Wesley Chapel

OddFellows Ice Cream has opened a new location in Wesley Chapel, offering both classic and inventive flavors.
Traditional options like vanilla bean and cookies and cream are available, alongside unique creations such as miso-flavored ice cream and wasabi-infused chocolate chips. Other flavors available at their Hyde Park Village store include olive oil jelly donut, and coconut mango sticky rice crafted by Sam Mason, a James Beard-nominated pastry chef.
OddFellows Ice Cream Co. parlors are also known for their distinctive interior design, which blends nostalgic elements with modern touches.
Saddlebrook Becomes Global Hub for Tennis & Pickleball Coaching Registries

Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel is now the headquarters for the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR), uniting over 23,000 coaching professionals across 127 countries. This marks the first move for PTR in 40 years from its longtime base in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
During the September 24 ribbon-cutting ceremony, PTR Board Chair Lynne Rolley celebrated Saddlebrook’s legacy, having trained Grand Slam champions like Andy Roddick and Martina Hingis. CEO Peter Hurley called the relocation a "monumental day" for PTR and PPR, praising Saddlebrook’s world-class facilities and welcoming community.
The move boosts Pasco County’s tourism and economy, drawing athletes, coaches, and visitors for tournaments and events.
With the rise of pickleball as the fastest-growing sport, PTR and PPR aim to position Saddlebrook as a hub for racquet sports education, coaching, and development.

FSU Secures Commitment from Tampa Edge Rusher LaJesse Harrold

The Florida State Seminoles have scored big in Tampa, landing four-star edge rusher LaJesse Harrold for their 2025 recruiting class. Harrold, a 6’5”, 215-pound standout from Gaither High School, flipped his commitment from LSU following an official visit to Tallahassee.
Ranked 182nd nationally and 18th among edge rushers by 247Sports Composite, Harrold’s athleticism is evident both on and off the field. A multi-sport athlete, he also competes in basketball and track, boasting impressive marks in high jump (6 feet) and long jump (21-2.75 feet).
Known for his patience, strong pursuit, and down-field tackling, Harrold offers immense potential, though he’s considered raw in pass-rush technique.
Harrold chose FSU over offers from 20+ programs, including Florida, Georgia, Miami, and Texas A&M, solidifying Mike Norvell’s efforts to build a dominant #Tribe25 class.
