Breeze Airways Adds Two New Routes to Key West with Fares Starting at $39

Low-cost carrier Breeze Airways is expanding its presence in Florida this summer with two new nonstop routes to Key West from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Tampa International Airport (TPA). Starting in June, flights will run four times per week, with introductory fares as low as $39.

Breeze Airways, founded by former JetBlue co-founder David Neeleman, aims to make travel to Key West more accessible and affordable. “We’re confident this will be a very popular addition to Breeze’s national network,” said Neeleman.

In addition to the Key West routes, Breeze will increase flights between Tampa and Pensacola International Airport (PNS) to four times per week, beginning June 5.

Key West remains a top destination known for its coral reef, beaches, Ernest Hemingway’s house, and vibrant nightlife. Travelers can book tickets now on the airline’s website.

Draganfly Expands to Tampa with New Facility for Defense and Security Partnerships

Draganfly Inc., a leader in drone technology, has announced the opening of a new U.S. facility in Tampa, Florida. The strategic location will serve as a hub for product demonstrations and live-fire testing, strengthening the company’s role in national security, defense, and law enforcement collaborations.

CEO Cameron Chell highlighted Draganfly’s long-standing commitment to U.S. clients, emphasizing that the new facility will enhance the company’s ability to deliver advanced drone solutions to military and industrial sectors.

This expansion aligns with rising demand for domestically manufactured drone technology, particularly amid recent geopolitical trade measures. Draganfly continues to invest in North American production, ensuring high-quality, secure UAV systems for clients across the U.S., Canada, and beyond.

For more information, visit www.draganfly.com.

One astonishing but little-known fact about drones is that scientists have developed drone technology capable of pollinating flowers, mimicking the behavior of bees.

With global bee populations declining, researchers have experimented with tiny drones covered in horsehair and coated with a special sticky gel to transfer pollen between flowers. These "pollinator drones" have been tested successfully on lilies and other plants, showing potential as a future backup for natural pollinators.

While they are not a replacement for bees, this breakthrough highlights how drone technology could help maintain food production and biodiversity if pollinator populations continue to decline.

ChatGPT vs. Google: Who Gives Better
Health Advice?

A new study published in NPJ Digital Medicine finds that AI chatbots like ChatGPT can provide more accurate medical answers than Google—if prompted correctly. Researchers analyzed the accuracy of four search engines and seven AI models in answering 150 health-related questions.

Key Findings:

  • LLMs outperformed search engines in accuracy, answering ~80% of questions correctly, compared to 50–70% for search engines.

  • Prompt phrasing significantly impacted AI accuracy, with "expert"-framed prompts performing best.

  • Search engines often provided non-responsive results, but when on-topic, their precision reached 80–90%.

  • Retrieval-augmented AI models (which use search results for reference) improved accuracy only when the retrieved information was reliable.

The study warns that while AI chatbots provide coherent and mostly accurate health answers, they sometimes confidently generate misinformation. Future improvements in retrieval methods and model trustworthiness could make AI a safer alternative for medical inquiries.

USF Bulls One Win Away from NCAA
Tournament Berth

The No. 3-seeded USF Bulls (22-10) are just 40 minutes away from securing a spot in the NCAA Tournament after a 58-48 semifinal victory over North Texas in the AAC Women's Basketball Tournament.

USF will face No. 9-seeded Rice Owls (17-16) in the AAC championship game on Wednesday night (7 p.m. EST, ESPNU), with the winner earning an automatic NCAA Tournament bid. USF previously defeated Rice twice this season, including an 82-77 triple-overtime thriller.

Against No. 2-seeded North Texas (24-8), USF built a 16-point lead but struggled offensively, shooting 30.3% overall. Vittoria Blasigh (13 points) led the Bulls, while L’or Mputu grabbed a career-high 21 rebounds, the fifth-highest total in program history.

Head coach Jose Fernandez emphasized the importance of this moment: "We've been on both sides of the NCAA bubble. Now, we control our destiny."

With one win away from March Madness, USF aims to punch their ticket to the big dance.
