Twenty One Pilots Set Florida Dates for ‘Clancy: Breach’ Tour

Twenty One Pilots has announced their upcoming Clancy: Breach 2025 Tour, launching September 18 in Cincinnati and wrapping October 25 in Los Angeles. The 21-stop tour supports their new album, “Breach”, due out September 5, which concludes the conceptual saga that began with 2015’s “Blurryface.”
Florida fans can catch the Grammy-winning duo in West Palm Beach on October 10 and Tampa on October 11. The tour follows their 2025 American Music Award wins for “Favorite Rock Artist” and “Favorite Rock Album” for 2024’s “Clancy.”
Pre-sale tickets are available now, with general sale opening June 20 at 10 a.m. local time. “Breach” has already sparked excitement with its lead single, “The Contract,” released June 12.

Manatee Hugs Florida Diver in Rare Ocala Encounter

see photo in article for “correct” hug
In a rare and tender moment captured on video, a playful manatee hugged a diver exploring a spring in Central Florida’s Ocala National Forest.
Freediver and SCUBA Divemaster Casey Barrick, currently documenting 500 Florida springs, was filming a group of sleeping manatees when one curious sea cow swam up behind him. Wrapping its fins around his leg, the manatee held on for about two to three minutes before releasing him.
Barrick described the encounter as both unexpected and touching, noting that manatees usually keep their distance. While charming, the event underscores the importance of respecting wildlife: it’s illegal in Florida to touch or harass manatees, which are protected under multiple state and federal laws, including the Marine Mammal Protection Act and the Florida Manatee Sanctuary Act.
New Life Amid Heartbreak: Georgia Baby Delivered 4 Months After Mom’s Death

Chance, a baby boy, was delivered prematurely by C-section early Friday at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta from Adriana Smith, a nurse who was declared brain-dead in February. At the time, Smith was eight weeks pregnant, and doctors kept her on life support due to Georgia’s strict abortion law, which prohibits terminating pregnancies after fetal cardiac activity is detected.
Baby Chance, weighing 1 pound 13 ounces, is in the NICU and expected to survive, according to his grandmother, April Newkirk, who asked for prayers. Smith, who would have turned 31 over the weekend, leaves behind a 7-year-old son. Her family says the state’s abortion law robbed them of medical autonomy.
Smith’s condition stemmed from undiagnosed brain clots, discovered after she sought care for severe headaches. She will be removed from life support this week, finally allowing her family to lay her to rest.

Tampa Bay Sun Plans 15K‑Seat Stadium at
Ybor Harbor
The Tampa Bay Sun — fresh off their first USL Super League championship — has unveiled ambitious plans for a permanent 15,000‑seat stadium in Ybor City.
Partnering with business leader Darryl Shaw, the stadium would anchor Ybor Harbor, a 33‑acre mixed‑use waterfront development also featuring a boutique hotel. Previously considered for a new Rays ballpark, the site is now dedicated to women’s soccer.
Shaw emphasized sport’s ability to “inspire, unite, and drive meaningful change,” while Tampa Mayor Jane Castor praised how the venue will “capture our city’s energy” and support inclusive growth.
Though specific costs and timelines remain unreleased, the project is intended as a public–private partnership. USL CEO Alec Papadakis added that the stadium will reflect the ambition of women’s soccer and yield “lasting benefits for Tampa Bay.”
