Florida Man Opens Fire on Garbage Truck in Wild Zephyrhills Chase”

Zephyrhills, FL – A disturbing chase early Friday morning ended in gunfire and a crash after a man allegedly opened fire on a garbage truck in a residential part of Zephyrhills.
According to police, Quinson De'Shawn Croson, 46, began the confrontation during a brief exchange at a Wawa on Gall Boulevard around 5:30 a.m., where he was reportedly intoxicated. After the argument, he followed the two men—acquaintances of his—who had driven off in their Waste Connections garbage truck.
Croson allegedly pursued them in a black GMC Yukon SUV, firing several shots at the truck before crashing into it near Dairy Road. One passenger was ejected and later treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Another man sustained a gunshot wound to the forearm.
Surveillance footage and dashcam video confirmed the chase and shooting. Croson, a convicted felon prohibited from firearm possession, was arrested in Hillsborough County and faces two counts of attempted homicide and one count of firearm possession by a felon.
Contact Zephyrhills Police at (813) 780-0050 with any information.

Your Guide to Finding Last-Minute Concert Tickets
in Tampa

Missed the presale? Don’t panic—Tampa fans still have smart ways to catch sold-out shows without paying scalper prices.
Time It Right
Prices often drop on show day, especially between 10 AM–2 PM, just before start time, or after the opener begins. Use apps like SeatGeek and Gametime to track price dips.
Stick With Trusted Sources
Use platforms like StubHub, Ticketmaster Verified Resale, and Ticket Squeeze. Avoid Craigslist and Marketplace, which often lack buyer protection.
Watch Venue Channels
Venues sometimes release last-minute seats. Follow them on social media or join newsletters for surprise drops.
Check Local Groups
Find extras through Tampa-specific Facebook groups, Reddit, or Discord. Always meet in public and use verified transfers.
Use Last-Minute Apps
Apps like Gametime, DICE, and TickPick offer real-time deals, instant mobile delivery, and seat views.
Stay Safe
Avoid sellers asking for cash or sending screenshots only. Use verified transfer systems for peace of mind.

Smarter Than MDs? Microsoft AI Outdiagnoses Doctors on NEJM Cases
Microsoft’s new AI tool, MAI-DxO, has shown a dramatic leap in diagnostic accuracy, correctly diagnosing 85% of complex medical cases published by the New England Journal of Medicine—four times better than the 20% average among physicians in a recent Microsoft study.
Unlike past AI benchmarks based on multiple-choice formats like the USMLE, this new test mimics real clinical settings. It requires both human doctors and AI models to sequentially assess cases, order tests, and work within simulated cost constraints that reflect real-world healthcare spending.
MAI-DxO uses multiple language models and data streams to reach conclusions, offering a configurable and cost-aware approach to diagnosis.
However, public trust remains a hurdle. A recent report found that 60% of Americans are uneasy with AI-involved care, and 57% fear it could damage patient-provider relationships.
Microsoft emphasizes that AI is meant to augment—not replace—human expertise in medicine.
